To Infinity and Beyond....

Say what you want about Disney and its movies, but the Toy Story movies are completely responsible for teaching my 3 year old how to play make believe by himself, and for that I will be eternally grateful!! He has a serious passion for all things Buzz. We've tried to get Woody equal playing time, but to no avail, Buzz is just way cooler to this 3 year old. We counted, and we think he's up to about 11 different Buzz toys. He's had to earn some, some were gifts, or prizes, but every time he gets a new one, it goes anywhere and everywhere with him. He had a good-sized one, but he couldn't cuddle with it, so he asked for a "Bedtime Buzz"-a soft cushy one. He earned it with a chart that we put stickers on every time he stayed in bed at night, something he was struggling with. Our last trip to Disneyland he picked out a little mini Buzz. He "flew" that little guy all over the park and has hardly let go of it for 2 weeks. So cute!
Anyway, Carter and I have been getting A LOT of one on one time lately. With the other 3 kids at school, he has my undivided attention all day long. He's doing better than I thought he would. Abby was practically his mother the past 2 years, playing with him, taking care of him, disciplining him, that I thought he might not know how to be by himself, but I think he's actually enjoying it.
