Big Trees has been a favorite place of ours to camp since we got out trailer 6 years ago. It's not too far away, it's beautiful, it's perfect for kids, there's fun trails to take, and it's a really nice campground. We finally were able to find a weekend to go in June and we had a great time. My favorite part was that Nathan requested that we clean out his trailer cupboards and fridge, so I didn't have to bring or plan much in the way of food! And who can complain when you end the night with s'mores, even if the graham crackers were a little stale. Somehow Carter brought his Ironman costume along and wore it the second day we were there-to the kids' exploration class and everything. Pretty cute! Another successful, fun family campout!
