They did the gunite (heavier concrete blown through a hose with a lot of pressure) last week. It was very loud, but pretty cool to watch. It took them about 4 1/2 hours. They would spray a thick wall of it, then go smooth and level it out. I got to design the steps and such. I think the pool will be very versatile for many ages. It's dry enough now to walk around in and we have to keep it wet so it won't dry too fast, so the kids think it's fun to play around in and take turns spraying it down. And they still love all the dirt to play in. I think they'll be sad when all the dirt is gone. :)
