Big day for the girls today. Abby started kindergarten. She is sooooo ready to go to school. Since her birthday is in November, she's 5 1/2, so she'll be on the older side. She'll have the same teacher Zach had: Mrs. Tiede, who has watched her grow up from a baby and has anxiously awaited her arrival. We think she's just about the cutest little kindergartener you ever did see! Good luck, our little Abby!
And Morgan will be moving on to middle school this year for 6th grade at Ben Holt Academy, the same charter organization that they went to elementary school in. She is very nervous and worried about keeping up with everything, but she is a very organized little student, and they prepared them very well in 5th grade, so I think she'll be fine. It's the whole social structure of this age that is difficult. Friends are everything at this point in a child's life and she is struggling. I hope she meets some new kids from other schools and finds her niche. Wow! Morgan is in 6th grade. When did my little princess grow up? Can't we just keep playing dress up and reading disney stories?!?!?
p.s. Zach is going into 4th grade this year, but must have not been around when we were snapping pictures. We'll have to catch him later.
