Valentine's Weekend
So, Nathan and I took and awesome trip by ourselves this weekend. We planned it last year with our friends Aaron and Lisa. We'd never been on a cruise before, so we decided to try out a 3-day one to see if we liked that kind of vacation and it just happened to be on Valentine's weekend-total bonus! We drove down to Long Beach on Friday morning, got on the boat early afternoon, and ate, slept, relaxed, and laughed for 3 days! It was hard to find a nice, quiet, peaceful spot on a weekend party ship, but we did our best, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks to Grandma and Aunt Allison for taking care of our kids so we could go!

How fun! Someone mentioned Allison taking care of your kids but I didn't know you guys had sneaked away for a weekend:) So was cruisin for you? (I still haven't decided...it felt like if you don't drink, don't gamble, don't watch skimpy girls shaking their thang on stage, don't listen to crude humor, and don't spend $100 of dollars on spa treatments, there's not a whole lot for you to do on the ship- maybe that was just cuz ours was over New Years?)
