This was the 4th Thanksgiving I've hosted at my house since living in California-one in Folsom, 3 in Lodi, so I'm gettin' pretty good at this. Melanie and I prepared the menu and bought all the stuff beforehand, then everyone pitched in to cook it all Thursday morning. It was a fabulous feast, as usual. We were so glad that Monica and Targhee got to come, it was iffy if they were gonna make it. But it was great to spend time with them before they got married, and it was the first time my kids and Nathan had seen Monica since she got home from her mission, and the first time she had met Carter at all. We went bowling, saw the play, played some Rockband, and a few games. It was a great weekend.
