This was Zach's second year of basketball. He's definitely getting better, but he's pretty much the smallest on the team and not very aggressive, so he didn't get the ball very often. Some of those kids have been playing ball since they were 3 and they totally get how this game works and what to do with that ball. Others (like Zach) are just starting to figure it all out. He was a good team player though, when he would get the ball, he would look to see who he could pass to, not to shoot. He got pretty good at dribbling too, so that's all we asked, for some learning.
The school started a choir this year and Morgan is in that as well. I had no idea what they were learning and how it was going, but they did a little performance before Christmas and it was darling. Cute, fun songs that I'd never heard, singing in rounds, choreography and Morgan even sang in a little trio in the song "When Christmas Comes to Town" from The Polar Express. She sang it for our Christmas Eve program in Provo. She's really got a great little voice and we hope she keeps using it.
